Merry 17th.

*written a little over 1 week ago*

Today (Monday) is my birthday. 17 years ago today I was born.
Fun fact: I was born over a month early.. Guess I just really loved October?

Because I haven't been very well recently my family decided to spread my birthday out over three days, the weekend before and the day.

On the Saturday, we went for a meal. I didn't take a picture as I'm a glutton and ate it all before I remembered to. I also got a pudding which meant I ate more that day than I had the past week altogether.
I also entered the lottery for the first ever time.
Yep I got ID'd.
No I didn't win £10,000,000.

On the Sunday, me and my mom went birthday shopping, I got some wedges from Peacock. They are like the ones I got from New Look but a little shorter and so easier to walk in. Ate some McDonald's fries.

On Monday (today), I opened my presents and cards and got to see my birthday cookie. Also I was really unwell and so spent 2 hours at the doctors, I can definitely say that I've had an ECG on my birthday now.

And now I shall sleep.

Lawson: EVERYWHERE WE GO TOUR

My mom is a quite a fan of Lawson and she managed to convince me to go along with her to see them live at de montfort hall the week before last wednesday.
I have been unwell for the past two and a bit weeks and even though I knew that going would make me even worse I decided I couldnt break a promise.

Outfit rundown
Crop top: New Look Generation
Jeans: New Look
Wedges: New Look

My ticket

I was really excited because ROOM 94 were supporting. I have been a fan of ROOM 94 for such a long time. Its really quite awesome how far they have come.

The next supporting band were called Paighton and I had never heard of them but they were really good!

The lead singer was really kinda cute :x

and then ofcourse the main act.....
LAWSON.

I felt bad about going seeing as I wasn't a big fan of Lawson and it was their tour. Ended up buying a program though.
It was a good night all.

I took a lot of vine and instagram videos so you should take a look at those.

Confessions of a shopaholic tag

Jess tagged me in the Confessions of a shopaholic tag post that she did.
Okay lets start!
1. Would you consider yourself a shopaholic?
Most probably yes.. I buy when im stressed, which is almost all the time. I think in the past week I spent over £80 on clothes that I was saving for a new camera.
*hangs head in shame*

2. How Would you classify your style?
Id love to say it was gyaru/lolita/CPK but im still getting into that. None of my clothes in my wardrobe match because I change styles so often and so finding an outfit is very difficult. My style is mix-match ?
*sigh*

3. What store can you not leave without buying at least one thing?
H&M. Its my vice. The shopping store near me has a 3 level H&M and the bottom floor is basically year round sales. If I see a top for £3 or a skirt for £5 I will buy... regardless if it will go with anything I own
*hangs head in shame.. again*

4. Where do you find the best deals?
H&M and online.. I guess also New Look? Mostly online though I guess.

5. Do you have a "go to" shopping outfit?
Yes. I tend to wear skin coloured tights with a skirt and (any) top. I dont buy trousers very often so having tights already on makes it easier to buy more skirts and dresses!

6.What is your guilty pleasure? (not including beauty products)
things under £5-10. That not an actual 'thing' but regardless of what it is, if its not expensive... I buy. Its terrible really.

7. What is one staple clothing piece you can't live without?
Probably my terribly old converse or OTK socks.

 8. What is a trend you hope never goes out of style?
I dont think this really counts for me as I dont usually dress to whatever is in style anyway. I cant really answer this

9. What trend did you love that passed away too quickly?
trendsssss

10. Who is your fashion icon?

So that is the end of the questions.
I do believe that I am supposed to tag some other people... so
I tag everyone who reads this!
Thankyou Jess for tagging me.

Please be sure to take a look at my new blog, its a lot more fashion orientated than this one!

Undone

"How far would you fall for the truth?"

Jem Halliday is in love with her gay best friend. Not exactly ideal, but she's learning to live with it.
Then the unspeakable happens. Kai is outed online...and he kills himself.
Jem knows nothing she can say or so will bring him back. But she wants to know who was responsible. And she wants to take them down...

Right
I wasn't planning on blogging about this.
Not at all.
But it's 2:11am and I've just finished reading Undone by Cat Clarke.
I never would have even read it if it wasn't for the review done by Jess at Dungarees and doughnuts!

Right so I just finished reading it.
I can't do book reviews to save my life so I'm not gonna do one. I'm just gonna talk... while trying not to spoil anything for anyone.

This book is .. well.. it's well written for sure.
I spent most of the book actually disliking Jem, the main character, quite a bit.
She reminded me of the reason as to why I disliked the unpopular people (lol) .. so damn judgemental of the popular people .. like dude, they are people just like everyone else -_-
Ok I was like that at one point too shush people grow up

The ending is quite possibly the meanest ending ever. I just can't go to sleep right now.
The ending.. It was what I wanted but also not? I really grew to like all the characters to be honest. The ending was.. an ending. The first page of chapter 59 is what did it for me. Duuuude the ending.

The main storyline for the book though? Totally predictable, I do a thing where I guess who's the culprit and I got it right.

Retail £6.99 Amazon £5?
Totally worth a read.
Took about 5 hours to read over the course of 2 days.
Kinda wish I'd gotten it for my kindle instead of getting the actual book...

Pinky Paradise reviewww

Ugh this post is so late.
A while ago I ordered some lenses from Pinky Paradise, while I have already had circle lenses I never had any from that site. I was really excited cause I got prescription ones!! Which would mean I would be able to see!!! Without glasses!!!!!
The reason I have two lids is bcus my mom also got a pair but didn't want the silly cases.. So I used one colour for left and one for right
Pretty smart huh
without | with
I forgot to take a before and after but lucky for you I seem to take photos of my eyes quite a lot.
As you can see there is an enlargement and the colour blends really well!!
"Now I can look like a cute doll alien!"
I really like these lenses!
Ok stats

Shipping: 5/5 I got the Fedex Economy Express .. they arrived within 3 days!!
Packaging: 5/5 there was no way these were getting broken on their way to me!
Comfort: 4/5 .. It took some time to get used to them but then they were comfortable
but please may god kill whoever invented the inside out contact.. I honestly thought my eye was falling out when I had managed to turn the right one inside out.
Colour: 5/5 they look natural! (apart from the enlargement ofc)
Enlargement: 4/5 .. I could always go for bigger ones lol

This was over a week ago and I forgot to take photos of the packaging etc due to being lazy.

I havent worn them since that day due to always waking up with only 5 minutes to spare and literally getting dressed and brushing my hair before leaving.
Its days like that that I love having to wear glasses... They cover up my ugly.

Anyway thanks for reading!
